    Of the three sprinkler repair companies I contacted, Hessenauer was the only one to respond. They provided a date and time, and they arrived on schedule. They did a thorough inspection and fixed multiple problems for a reasonable cost. They are now my "go to" sprinkler repair company.

    Eric has been out here twice to correct everyone else's mistakes and I am so grateful.  I finally have my irrigation system working as it should.  This is a quality company with excellent workers who know their stuff. I'm glad I found them.

    Eric was out today to repair 3 valves damaged by a lightning hit.  Was on-time, communicated his arrival, and clearly explained the problem.   Very professional.  Emma also was a pleasure to deal with when making the appointment.  Will definitely use them again.

    Could not have worked with a better team. They came out, heard what I wanted, then validated that it was needed, and gave me a quote. They did a lot of repairs on my old system and it is up and running again. I could not have been more impressed with their timeliness, professionalism, and attention to my specific needs as an old home. I will use them again when needed.

    I was impressed with Hessenauer Irrigation.  Jay did a great job replacing an old irrigation clock.  He didn't stop there, he checked each of my 4 zones and replaced a few heads that needed to be replaced.  I'm saving their contact info and will definitely use them next time I need any work done!

Companion meters, or “smart meters,” can save our Orlando area customers money on electricity in Central Florida and surrounding communities. Consider using a companion meter for the irrigation system for your home or business and save money on your next electric bill!

A companion meter is a digital device that records electricity use in intervals. These smart meters are equipped with wireless technology to transmit the consumer’s usage data to your local Central Florida power company and can also send pricing data to a smart thermostat located inside the consumer’s home. These meters accumulate data in fifteen-minute intervals and send it to the electric company every four hours.

This works because the price of electricity varies throughout the day as demand fluctuates. A smart meter allows utility companies to gather the information needed to reduce operational costs and offer consumers the ability to better control electric utility costs. Customers can have a residential companion meter installed on their irrigation systems to measure outside water use separately.

The electric utility company can charge different prices based on the time of day. A smart meter allows lower electricity prices by shifting some usage away from peak demand periods, therefore reducing stress on utility company generators and transmitters. By using certain appliances during lower usage periods of the day, the consumer can save money!
