    Of the three sprinkler repair companies I contacted, Hessenauer was the only one to respond. They provided a date and time, and they arrived on schedule. They did a thorough inspection and fixed multiple problems for a reasonable cost. They are now my "go to" sprinkler repair company.

    Eric has been out here twice to correct everyone else's mistakes and I am so grateful.  I finally have my irrigation system working as it should.  This is a quality company with excellent workers who know their stuff. I'm glad I found them.

    Eric was out today to repair 3 valves damaged by a lightning hit.  Was on-time, communicated his arrival, and clearly explained the problem.   Very professional.  Emma also was a pleasure to deal with when making the appointment.  Will definitely use them again.

    Could not have worked with a better team. They came out, heard what I wanted, then validated that it was needed, and gave me a quote. They did a lot of repairs on my old system and it is up and running again.     I was impressed with Hessenauer Irrigation.  Jay did a great job replacing an old irrigation clock.  He didn't stop there, he checked each of my 4 zones and replaced a few heads that needed to be replaced.  I'm saving their contact info and will definitely use them next time I need any work done!

Irrigation sprinkler systems are comprised of various plumbing parts, piping, and control equipment. Some of the main parts for an irrigation system include irrigation valves, controllers, rain sensors, pumps, pipelines, spray nozzles, and rotors. Piping is connected to a water source through plumbing fittings, and a control system opens and closes valves to provide water on a schedule. The level of control the equipment provides allows for fully automated systems, which can compensate for rain, runoff, and evaporation, while others require much more attention for the same effectiveness.

Valves regulate and control the flow of fluids from higher-pressure to lower-pressure areas by opening and closing. Technically, valves are pipe fittings, but are generally discussed in a category of their own.

Irrigation controllers are devices that operate automatic drip irrigation and lawn sprinkler systems. These irrigation controllers set the start time, irrigation frequency, and watering duration. Rain sensors are switching devices designed to shut off irrigation systems during rainfall and allow sprinklers to disperse water when rain is absent. Rain sensors generally come in wireless and hard-wired versions in a few different varieties.

The irrigation pipelines are like the circulatory system of the irrigation system. These control where the water is brought to and are placed underground in irrigation ditches. Most irrigation pipelines consist of PVC pipe.

Irrigation spray nozzles are designed to control the direction and amount of water flow in an irrigation system, especially to increase velocity as water exits the ends of the pipe.
