    Of the three sprinkler repair companies I contacted, Hessenauer was the only one to respond. They provided a date and time, and they arrived on schedule. They did a thorough inspection and fixed multiple problems for a reasonable cost. They are now my "go to" sprinkler repair company.

    Eric has been out here twice to correct everyone else's mistakes and I am so grateful.  I finally have my irrigation system working as it should.  This is a quality company with excellent workers who know their stuff. I'm glad I found them.

    Eric was out today to repair 3 valves damaged by a lightning hit.  Was on-time, communicated his arrival, and clearly explained the problem.   Very professional.  Emma also was a pleasure to deal with when making the appointment.  Will definitely use them again.

    Could not have worked with a better team. They came out, heard what I wanted, then validated that it was needed, and gave me a quote. They did a lot of repairs on my old system and it is up and running again. I could not have been more impressed with their timeliness, professionalism, and attention to my specific needs as an old home. I will use them again when needed.

    I was impressed with Hessenauer Irrigation.  Jay did a great job replacing an old irrigation clock.  He didn't stop there, he checked each of my 4 zones and replaced a few heads that needed to be replaced.  I'm saving their contact info and will definitely use them next time I need any work done!

Replacing sprinkler system irrigation valves is an inevitable part

of irrigation maintenance.

Eventually you will experience irrigation valve operating issues.

I have listed many of the symptoms and their causes below.

You may experience one of the following symptoms

Irrigation valve will not shut down
Irrigation valve will not open
Irrigation valve will only partially open leading to low operating pressure

Some of the many reasons for irrigation valve incorrect operation or failure are

Split or distorted irrigation valve diaphragm
Broken or cracked irrigation valve body
Dirt or debris preventing irrigation valve diaphragm from seating correctly
Dirt or debris preventing irrigation valve solenoid from seating correctly
Loose irrigation valve vent screw
Loose irrigation valve solenoid
Short circuited or open circuited irrigation valve solenoid
Open circuited field wiring

The first step to either replace or repair any irrigation valve is that you must know it’s location. At Hessenauer Sprinkler Repair & Irrigation we have all the necessary underground irrigation valve location equipment on all of our service vehicles. We can locate any lost irrigation valve or under ground field wiring fault or break .

Once located we will be able to diagnose the fault & give good advice with regards to the replacement of the offending irrigation valve.
